Karnataka Administrative Services Selection Process
Three steps make up the recruitment procedure for KPSC KAS Groups A and B selection:
- The preliminary exam is the initial step in the hiring process. The exam is written and is used as a screening tool. Candidates will only be able to take the main exam if they pass this one.
- Main Exam: Those who pass the preliminary exam will be placed on a shortlist for the main exam, which is longer and assesses applicants on a larger variety of knowledge and abilities.
- Personal Interview: The interview phase is the last in the selection process. After passing the primary exam, candidates will be invited to an interview to determine whether they are qualified for the position.
KAS Examination Schedule
August 25th, 2024 is the date of the KPSC KAS preliminary exam for that year. To conduct the KPSC KAS 2024, the commission is now preparing. Preliminary exam, main exam, and interview will be the two exams that make up this exam.
KPSC KAS Paper Pattern and Exam Scheme
To assess candidates efficiently, the preliminary exam adheres to a set format and methodology. There are two papers on the exam:
- The test will be administered offline.
- The form of the questions shall be objective.
- There are going to be two marks given for every right answer.
- There is a 0.25 mark deduction for each incorrect response.
