Haryana Health Department Age Limit
Applicants trying to become Medical Officers with the Haryana Health Department must meet certain age requirements. Specifically, they must be no more than 35 years old and at a minimum 22 years old. August 28, 2024, is the cutoff date for calculating age eligibility.
Age Relaxation:
Regulations issued by the government allow for age relaxation for several groups, including Persons with Disabilities, Scheduled Castes, and Backward Classes.
- For PwBD C Candidates: 10 years
- For SC/BC-A/BC-B Candidates: 5 years
Haryana Health Department Educational Qualifications
Participants must hold a bachelor’s degree in medicine or surgery from an accredited university or another institution approved by the Indian Medical Council. It also requires knowledge of Sanskrit and Hindi. The Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council within the Indian Union requires them to be registered as Medical Practitioners.
Haryana Health Department Selection Process
The following activities are included in the selection procedure for the position of Medical Officer:
- Written Exam: 100-point test, first round of selection.
- Qualifications for Education: Individuals who have completed a postgraduate degree are awarded Fourteen marks, while those who have completed a postgraduate diploma are awarded Ten marks. The degree grades are the only ones taken into account if both criteria are met.
- Experience: Two marks are given annually, up to a maximum of ten marks, for professional work and service in any government-run or government-aided health facility.
